Why we make furniture ourselves instead of outsourcing it

Most interior companies are sales and design offices that place your order with a factory. Here is what changes when the factory is your own.

Why we make furniture ourselves instead of outsourcing it

When a company outsources manufacturing, your wardrobe is one line item in a factory queue. If the shutter comes in 4 mm short, you are waiting on a vendor who has fifty other orders.

We run our own workshop in Faridabad. That changes three things.

First, dimensions. We cut to the actual site measurement, taken after plaster, rather than to a standard module. NCR flats are rarely square, and a 15 mm correction is a half-day job for us.

Second, correction. If something is wrong at installation, the panel is remade in our own workshop, usually within two days.

Third, price. There is no factory margin stacked on top of ours. That is most of the twenty per cent gap clients see when they compare our quote with a large brand.

The trade-off is honest: we produce a limited number of projects at a time. When the workshop is full, we tell you the real start date instead of taking the booking anyway.
